In 1996, Calvary Community Church moved to its present location in Henrietta. Despite difficulties and uncertainties, the people made this faith move because they believed in the mission God gave them. The members of Calvary were convinced that they would reach more people with the message of Jesus in the new location. Their faith has been rewarded. In the 12 years that our church has been in Henrietta, God has helped us to reach out to our community. Lives have been radically transformed as Calvary Community introduced new people to the saving power of Jesus Christ. The church has steadily grown until now we use our discipleship rooms twice every Sunday morning. We are running out of discipleship space! God's mission that led the members of Calvary Community to move to Henrietta is still His mission for us today. We express it this way: Helping people discover a life-changing relationship with God. Our mission is to help the people of our community who do not know God to find salvation through Jesus Christ. When our space fills, we do not say, "We can rest. The mission is completed." Instead, we must find additional ways to continue to reach our community with Christ's message. This is the purpose of the Building a Future campaign. It is an investment in the salvation of our friends, neighbors and families. It is not just about bricks and mortar. The new discipleship building will provide a place where for decades to come our friends and neighbors will study God's purposes for their lives. This facility will play a role in the eternal destinies of the people who will use it in the coming years. |

| What is Building a Future Together? |
In terms of brick and mortar, it is approximately a 9,000 square foot discipleship building. In terms of people, it's the next step in our vision to equip and mobilize children, youth and adults to change lives in our schools and community. Our goal is to raise the cost of the building before the building is completed. |
| Who will benefit most from this building? |
Everyone who attends Calvary Community will benefit since it will relieve pressure on our current space and give more room for all ages to meet. The new discipleship building will contain our children's ministry facilities, adult Bible study, meeting rooms and church offices. |
| How much will it cost ? |
Approximately $1.3 million.
|
Where are we now? |
| To date, $555,586 of the $884,596 pledged has been raised. Thank you for your faithfulness! |
