People have so many options these days. If you want a quick bite to eat, dozens of fast food restaurants are eager to present their latest sandwiches and salads. If you’re bored and want to settle down in front of the TV for an hour or so before bed, hundreds of cable channels offer you a dizzying array of comedy, drama, sports, or documentary. It’s easy to pick what to eat or what to watch without thinking about it much, but deciding which church to attend or whether to go at all can be much harder.

  Here are some reasons we think you’ll love our church:

• Everyone is welcome at Calvary Community. Don’t think you need to get all the issues in your life straightened out before you can start attending church. Church isn’t a place for perfect people; it’s a place for people who need God.

• Our worship services are dynamic and thought-provoking. Some music will be lively and energetic while other songs will be slower; much of the music will be contemporary, with a few more traditional songs. During the service you might see a short dramatic skit or a movie clip that illustrates a point our pastor is making. The sermons are interesting and easy to apply to your life, based on teaching that comes directly from the Bible.

• We have programs for people of all ages, from infants to teens to families to seniors, both on Sunday mornings and during the week. Many small groups meet at people’s homes throughout the week, where you can form close relationships and study God’s Word.

The Bible says, “Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciple” (John 13:35, NLT). The church is a community and we would love for you to become a part of ours.
